Weekwrite is run by [COMPANY NAME, Y-TUNNUS, ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between us and the business that signs up ("you").
What Weekwrite does
Weekwrite reads the public pages of your website, writes blog articles for it with AI language models, checks the numbers in each article against your own pages, and delivers the article to your site. Delivery is to the platform you connect: WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Shopify, a blog we host on your own subdomain, a file receiver on your server, or a webhook.
Businesses only
Weekwrite is for businesses only. We do not accept consumers. By signing up you confirm that you act for a business, in your trade or profession, and that you may accept these terms for it. If we find that an account is used by a consumer, we may close it.
Your site, your rights
You may only add a site you own or are allowed to run, and only connect publishing access you are allowed to give. You allow us to read the public pages of that site and to deliver articles to it through the access you connected. You can remove that access, or delete the site from your account, at any time.
You decide what goes live
Each site has an automatic publishing switch. When it is off, nothing goes live until you approve it. When it is on, articles go live on a schedule without a review step, but never before you have shown you control the domain. You can change the switch at any time. AI-written content is yours to answer for
Articles are written by AI models. We check the numbers in each article against your own pages, but an article can still be wrong, out of date, similar to other text, or unsuitable. Once you approve an article, or turn on automatic publishing, the content is your responsibility: it appears on your site under your name. That includes claims about your products, prices and competitors, and the advertising and consumer rules that apply to you. You will cover us for claims by others that arise from content you published, or from sites or credentials you had no right to use.
Rights in the articles
We give you whatever rights we hold in the articles written for you, to use as you like. We do not promise that an article is original, or that anyone can hold copyright in it.
No promise of results
We do not promise any ranking in Google or any other search engine, any amount of traffic, clicks, leads or sales, or that an AI assistant will mention you. Search engines and AI assistants decide that, not us. The service is provided as it is and as available, to the extent the law allows. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it will never be down or never fail to deliver an article.
Free trial
A new customer can start a free trial of 3 days. We ask for a payment card up front, through Stripe. When the 3 days end, the subscription starts and your card is charged automatically, unless you cancelled before then. You can cancel at any time during the trial, in one click, from Billing in Weekwrite, and it costs nothing. There is one trial per customer. We judge that by account and by Stripe customer, and we may also check the payment card. If a trial is started again by a customer who already had one, it ends at once and the first period is charged.
Subscription and payment
The service is a subscription, paid through Stripe, priced per site. The price and billing period are shown before you pay. VAT is calculated by Stripe from the address and VAT number you give at checkout. The subscription renews automatically for the next period until you cancel. We may change prices under the section on changes below, except that a launch price you joined at stays your price for as long as that subscription stays active.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel yourself, in two clicks, from the billing page. Cancelling stops the renewal: the service runs until the end of the period you have paid for and then stops. We do not refund a period that has started or been used, in whole or in part.
Suspending and closing accounts
We may suspend or close your account at once, without notice, if you do not pay, abuse the service or try to get around its limits, use it to break the law, or add sites or connect access you have no right to. Deleting a site deletes its pages, drafts, topics, statistics and stored publishing access from our database. Articles already on your site stay there. Limits on our liability
Our total liability to you, for all claims together, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue or business, lost or corrupted data, or lost rankings or traffic. These limits do not apply to damage caused on purpose or by gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at a hosting, AI, payment or email provider, a change by a search engine or platform, a network failure, an attack, or an act of a public authority.
Your data
How we handle personal data is on the Privacy page. Where we process personal data for you, our data processing agreement applies. [TO DECIDE: where the agreement is published, or how a customer asks for it.]
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, including prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a change applies. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it applies. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new terms. A price change never applies to a subscription that started at the launch price, for as long as that subscription stays active.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Finland. Disputes go only to the Helsinki District Court.
The whole agreement
These terms, the Privacy page and the data processing agreement are the whole agreement between us about Weekwrite. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our written consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over Weekwrite.
